Redux is complex. It’s a lot. But what is it? What purpose does it serve?
In prepper, a user can choose a category- Ruby, Rails, or Javascript. Each category contains several different word lists related to that category (for example: Ruby Basics, Intermediate Ruby, etc.). Each word list consists of 10 words. These 10 words are not shown to the user; they can only see the title of the list.
How many times have you and a group of friends sat around trying to figure out where you were going to go for dinner… only to finally agree upon a solution an hour later? That’s where “decider” comes in.
My background is in Psychology, so I knew for this project I wanted to do something regarding mental health. I started with doing some basic research and found some disappointing statistics referencing the increase in anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts since the beginning of the year, and even compared to previous years. Before I get into the details of my project, I’d like to discuss some of the research I found that motivated me to create this app.
